Insider Tips:
Looking for great views by the water?
Wyldhaven Park is a local favorite for sunset views of the capitol, from a lovely platform deck with seating, over Lake Monona.
San Damiano is Monona’s newest park, with a long history, and beautifully preserved shoreline right in the city. Enjoy seasonal biergartens with live music and food trucks, take your pup for a stroll through the grounds of the former monastery, or grab a seat and enjoy the waterfront views.
Looking for a few more amenities? Grand Crossing Park offers adirondack chairs along the water, to watch the boaters pass by and dock for a lakeside meal at Breakwater or Buck & Honey’s. This courtyard park features a grassy place to play and picnic in the summer, and turns into the Lake Ridge Bank River Rink with skate rentals and fire pits in the winter.

This is the official visitor site for Monona, Wisconsin. Learn about the town's history, find places to stay, things to do, restaurants, shops, and more.
