Monona Park Events:

Park Activities | Saturday, June 14 • 9 AM – 2 PM
Activities take place during the Loop the Lake bike ride and are open to everyone. Activity times may shift slightly as crowds ebb throughout the day.

San Damiano Park
Take a scenic detour to Monona’s newest lakefront gem—San Damiano. Steeped in history and natural beauty, this peaceful spot offers great views, a water station to refuel, and a perfect perch to cheer on the riders.

Schluter Park
Cool off with a refreshing slice of watermelon, generously provided by the Monona Police Department.  Rent a kayak from the InstaPaddle self-serve kiosk.

Winnequah Park
Visit the Aldo Leopold Nature Center’s education station to get an up-close look at the tiny aquatic creatures living in our local lakes.

Grand Crossing Park
Enjoy festive music, lawn games, and kid-friendly fun! Grab a snack from the concession stand, take part in the activities, or relax in the Adirondack chairs by the water.  A free public parking lot is available next the The Current 2, across from Grand Crossing Park.  If you’re coming by bike from the Lake Loop, the park is 500 feet off the trail – keep an eye out for the circus-themed stilt walker guiding the way to the park entrance.

From The Breakwater – Just steps from Grand Crossing Park:

360 Photo Booth + Yard Games – Snap a spin-worthy selfie in the 360° photo booth and challenge your friends to a friendly game of bag toss before heading into the park.

From LVLUP Martial Arts at Grand Crossing Park:

Board-Breaking Booth – A hands-on favorite! Kids can break boards and win fun prizes.

Demo + Beginner Session – Watch LVLUP students show off their moves, then join a fun, beginner-friendly class open to all ages.

From Novel Motion Circus (part of Madison Circus Space) at Grand Crossing Park :

Juggling Station + Circus Fun – Stop by for an interactive juggling experience! Kids can follow along with fun, beginner-friendly lessons using real juggling balls.

Info Booth + Circus Goods – Learn about youth classes, summer camps, and workshops offered at Madison Circus Space. You can also shop their brand-new circus-themed coloring book and take home your very own set of juggling balls!
